eren: i dont think thats entirely accurate tho, $amd is still holding above its trendline from last week lol

ian_calls: yeah kinda expected that tbh

karacable: ngl $AMDs been pretty rangebound lately so this doesnt surprise me, also their earnings report isnt till next week so alot of stuff can still happen before then

karamkt: ngl, i dont think its about being flat in premarket tho, $amd's movement is alot more tied to $nvda's announcements today imo

notadvice51: yeah alot can still happen but we've been hearing that for weeks, imo

karagandalf: lol, pretty muted reaction overall, also noticing $NVDA is following similar pattern in premarket trading today

redday: honestly i think thats a pretty narrow view, $AMD's been gaining alot of traction in the tech space lately

tara: na? i think $amd still has some momentum left, dont count it out just yet tbh

marginleft22: @redday, lol i gotta respectfully disagree, i think $AMD's recent earnings are what's gonna move the needle, not just traction in the tech space!!

karagandalf: lol been looking at the charts on $AMD and i think the premarket action is actually pretty telling, not as flat as it seems when you consider the underlying movement

n7_compounder: i think you're underselling the fact that $AMD is holding its ground despite the broader market pressures, lol, that's not nothing to me anyway

elliecharts: @karagandalf kinda wild tbh that you're seeing that under the surface, been feeling like there's more to the story with $AMD lately anyway

sith91: I think the lack of movement in $AMD is notable given the broader market conditions, imo it suggests investors are waiting to see how earnings play out.

redday: honestly dont think the underlying movement is as relevant here, looks like alot of it is just noise to me

goku_dxy: lol i dont think thats entirely accurate tho, $AMD is only flat cuz $NVDA is weighing on the whole sector imo

ary4cp1: I'm not so sure, haha, considering the broader market context and recent $NVDA movements, I think $AMD's premarket action is actually worth a closer look.

karagandalf: lol i still think $AMD's chart looks alot more bullish than that, got a clear uptrend going on dont see why a flat premarket would change that

x_erenxx: @goku_dxy valla i think sector correlation is overplayed here, $AMD's movement seems more tied to its own earnings expectations to me

notadvice51: i dont think thats entirely true, been saying for weeks now that $AMD's movement is alot more complex than just earnings expectations, kinda wild that everyones just waking up to this imo

ian_calls: tbh i think thats missing the point, $AMD holding up like this after last weeks run is kinda impressive imo
