From Aehr Test Systems's Latest SEC 10-K Filing (filed 2025-07-28)
Key Strengths & Strategy (as disclosed to the SEC)
- We have developed and introduced several innovative products including the FOX-P TM family of test and burn-in systems and FOX WaferPak TM Aligner, FOX WaferPak Contactor, FOX DiePak® Carrier and FOX DiePak Loader.
- The Company's strategy is to use in-house manufacturing only when necessary to protect a proprietary process or when a significant improvement in quality, cost or lead time can be achieved and relies on subcontractors to manufacture many of the components and subassemblies used in its products.
- As of May 30, 2025, the Company held 131 active patents in the United States, Singapore, China, Japan, Korea, and other countries, with expiration date ranges from 2025 to 2045, and had several additional United States patent applications and foreign patent applications pending.     The Company's ability to compete successfully is dependent in part upon its ability to protect its proprietary technology and information.
- Our technology and architectural design allow our products to take up only 5% of the test floor space compared to competitor's products.   The Company improved its facilities by replacing existing air conditioners and heat exchanger with higher efficiency units that draw less power and produce less wasted energy.
