From Akari Therapeutics Plc's Latest SEC 10-K Filing (filed 2026-03-30)
Key Strengths & Strategy (as disclosed to the SEC)
- However, our strategy is new and unproven, and we cannot guarantee that we will be successful in our efforts.   Our differentiated ADC discovery and development platform (our "ADC Platform") enables us to generate a range of ADC product candidates that pair our novel payloads with biologically validated antibody targets prevalent in cancer tumors.
- Drug Development Process   In the U.S., the FDA regulates drugs under the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act ("FDCA") and in the case of biologics, also under the Public Health Service Act ("PHSA") and the implementing regulations for both statutes.
- In addition, for products under accelerated approval, FDA generally requires all promotional materials, including launch materials, to be submitted for prior review.   Post-Approval Requirements   Once approval of an NDA or BLA is granted, the FDA may withdraw the approval if compliance with regulatory standards is not maintained or if problems are identified after the product reaches the market.
- A lower P-value, indicates stronger evidence to reject the null hypothesis.         The use of our proprietary L22 linker in AKTX-101 may contribute to a safety profile that has the potential to be superior to currently approved Trop-2-targeting ADCs.
