Key Strengths & Strategy (as disclosed to the SEC)
- Proceeding under this regulatory pathway, we will be able to rely upon publicly available data with respect to our active ingredient in our NDA submission to the FDA for marketing approval.   Fibromyalgia affects approximately 4 million U.S. adults (2% of the population).
- Our policy is to actively seek the broadest intellectual property protection possible for our products, proprietary information and proprietary technology through a combination of contractual arrangements and patents.
- In addition, we have established business procedures designed to maintain the confidentiality of our proprietary information, including the use of confidentiality agreements with employees, independent contractors, consultants and entities with which we conduct business.   To date, the intellectual property owned and licensed by us includes 5 issued patents and 20 pending patent applications in 14 patent families in the U.S. and abroad.
