Privacy Policy.

Effective 28 May 2026 · Last updated 28 May 2026

This policy explains what information Nexqual collects, how we use it, and the choices and rights you have. We keep it in plain language wherever we can.

01

Who we are

Nexqual (“Nexqual”, “we”, “us”) operates the website at nexqual.com and related services — a social platform for retail investors offering real-time market data, discussion, and analysis tools (the “Service”). This policy applies to that Service.

Nexqual is the controller responsible for your personal data. You can reach us at any time at privacy@nexqual.com. If you require our full registered details — for example, to send a formal legal request — we will provide them on request.

02

Information we collect

We collect the following categories of information:

We do not ask for or store bank credentials, brokerage logins, or payment card numbers. Portfolio figures you enter are self-reported and are not connected to any brokerage account.

For messaging, we also process basic metadata — such as who a message is sent to, timestamps, group membership, and delivery or read status — so that messages and groups work. Remember that anyone you message, and any member of a group you join, can read, save, screenshot, or forward what you send. We cannot control what recipients do with your messages or shared media.

03

How we use your information

04

Legal bases (EEA/UK users)

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we process your data under one or more of these legal bases: performance of a contract (to provide the Service you request), legitimate interests (to secure, maintain, and improve the Service), consent (where required, e.g. certain cookies or communications), and legal obligation.

05

How we share information

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with:

06

Cookies & similar technologies

We use cookies and local storage to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and understand how the Service is used. Essential cookies are required for the Service to function; you can control non-essential cookies through your browser settings. Disabling some cookies may affect functionality such as staying logged in.

07

Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we must retain certain records to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements.

Messages and shared media are stored so they can be delivered and displayed. When you delete a message or your account, we remove it from our active systems within a reasonable period; however, copies that a recipient has already received, saved, or forwarded are outside our control, and limited copies may persist in routine backups for a short time before being overwritten. Where required by law or a valid legal request, we may retain specific content for longer.

08

International transfers

Your information may be processed in countries other than your own, including the United States, where our providers operate. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses to protect your data when it is transferred internationally.

09

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

California residents (CCPA/CPRA): you have the right to know what we collect, to delete it, to correct it, and to opt out of any “sale” or “sharing” of personal information. We do not sell personal information. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

To exercise any right, email privacy@nexqual.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.

10

Security

We use industry-standard measures — encryption in transit, hashed passwords, access controls, and trusted infrastructure providers — to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work continuously to protect your information.

Please note that private messages and shared media are not end-to-end encrypted. We are able to access message and media content where necessary to operate the Service, investigate reports of abuse, protect the safety of our users, or comply with the law. Do not share highly sensitive information (such as passwords or financial credentials) through messages.

11

Children

The Service is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a minor has provided us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

12

Not financial advice

Important. Nexqual provides information, market data, and a venue for discussion. Nothing on the Service is investment, financial, legal, or tax advice, and no content should be relied upon as a recommendation to buy or sell any security. Market data may be delayed or inaccurate. You are solely responsible for your own decisions. See our Terms of Service for the full disclaimer.
13

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you through the Service. Your continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
