- Government Regulation As a biopharmaceutical company focused on the discovery, development, and commercialization of novel therapeutics for serious diseases, we are subject to extensive and ongoing regulation by government authorities, including regulation by the FDA under the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act ("FDCA") and its implementing regulations, as well as by other regulatory bodies in the United States, Europe and other countries in which we operate.
